BIPOLAR DAYS

OK........so I'm bipolar with anxiety and depression issues. This is one of those days. I'm trying to clean house, with bill's help. He cleaned the kitchen at least. I managed to get the bathroom clean, wash a load of laundry, and am going to get the laundry put away. I HATE being bipolar. I sometimes would rather have a physical disability than a mental one, as people understand that more than they do a mental one. What is normal other than a setting on a washing machine? what is normal for one may not be normal for me and vice versa. I hate the roller coaster ride of emotions. Up, down, down up..... tears, frustration, frustration, aggrevation. It's a royal pain in the ass! I've cried my tears. gotten frustrated because i can't seem to stay on task in one room,............as usual. THATS MY "normal".

Nevertheless, I will be better once I get out with the horses today. I'm going to do some training with Sassy, Shakota, and Dollar today. Plus i'm going to ride Sassy again today. I rode her yesterday and she is an absolute jewel of a mare. I am really impressed with her ability to scoot down the road. Her gait is a tennessee walking gait and she is just like a rocking chair. It's really nice. I enjoyed riding her very much yesterday. The sun was shining. The breeze was in my face. and I was on the best seat in the house....on a willing horse that was enjoying the ride as much as I was. THATS a wonderful feeling. Having a willing horse who enjoys her job as much as I'm enjoying the ride. She's not much to look at really. Just a simple little bay mare.....reddish brown, on the thin side, (she needs about 150 lbs on her), long hair that will finally shed off in the spring....(it's as long as it is because she was never wormed). We took all 5 of the horses to the vet yesterday for their vaccinations, tube worming to start the year, coggins test, checked to see if mama horse was pregnant ( and she's not....sniff, sniff. I'm disappointed.), and treatment for shakota as he has a cold. $502. OUCH! but not bad really considering it was 5 horses getting treated. But I do this every January.

Sigh! I'm tired and ain't done a thing really. Bipolar is a pain in the ass. that's why i stopped to write a moment. Hoping to get my brain back in working order. something to conccentrate on that's simple. writing out where my head seems to be at the moment. Really.................i'd just as soon stop everything and just go out to the horses. but I HA VE to get these chores done! or they'll still be here haunting me tomorrow....and the next day....and the next.

does anyone else have bipolar that's reading my journal? what are some of your challenges.....even if different from mine. sometimes it helps just knowing someone else has personal challenges like mine......I am a strong woman. Glaciercrow......i like that first comment on your page today...........about strong women.

S.....strong................T..........tumultous (my life).......R......righteous ( my faith)...........O..........ornery (me in a bipolar moment).......N...........Normal...........G.............Gragarious.............does this make me strong.....my stubborness. I am determined not to let this destroy my life. I will not let it invade my day today. I am going to get past this. ONe moment at a time. No tears. Just effort. I CAN do this!

THE JOYS OF RIDING

i've done it again. Was riding Sassy yesterday when she hit a soft spot on the ground and went down with me, dumping me in the road....black top. we were on the edge of ground right where the road edge starts. we were really cruising. when she hit a soft spot and down we went. It was like in slow motion to me. she fell on my lower left leg, bruising my knee, and i tried to catch myself with my left arm and have only come away with some strained muscles.....bicep and forearm.....and a sprained left wrist. YEA! It could've been much worse. Right after we fell, a cattle trailer come bouncing down the road, stopped to help, picked us up and took us home. I feel like I should've just ridden Sassy home. I wan't hurt that bad. But nevertheless I didn't. We rode home with a stranger. It was very nice of him to bring us home. At the time we didn't know how hurt I was, and couldn't have pulled myself back up on her with that arm if I had wanted to at the moment. But it's morning and I'm fine now & ready to ride again.......and will ......again today. The first thing after my fall that I said was "Get Sassy". I was more worried about her being hurt than me. She had just stopped and stood there. Very good. She's fine. thank goodness. Bill kept asking me if I was ok. I just sat and didn't move anything else until he had her in hand. the only thing hurt on me is my arm. but i'm a tough broad and will be fine. I'll live to ride again today! hehehe

I will visit Koh Chang in mid November and am wondering where should I book a hotel, on Kai Bae Beach or White Sand? I like quiet and peaceful beach (no jet ski or noisy boats) with facilities like Pattaya (beach parasols and chair, food vendors). Can you recommend? Any travel tips about their beach? Thanks.

White Sand Beach (Had Sai Khao) is the most developed (crowded) beach, with resorts building swimming pools right down to the high water mark.

That is not the place to go for peace and quiet.

Kai Bae has gone totally commercial over recent years and the beach was always quite rocky.

Instead, try Siam Beach south of Kai Bae or Had Klong Phrao just north of Kai Bae.

I want to see movies in the park and be comfortable, but not block anyone. These chairs don't have legs but they do support your back.

Do you mean chairs like these?

Around where I live they are used as stadium seats, or seats when sitting in a canoe. At the stadium or in a canoe there is no back support so these seats help a lot!

these seats can be found at other places too! (like sheels, and other sporting good stores)

The song is suggesting that Jay-Z is relaxing on a beach chair, whilst dreaming about various issues that reflect upon him. Whilst the melodic notes and strings were produced by Chris Martin, the reverbal drums in the background were produced by Dr. Dre. Some people have quoted that the song is not hip-hop as such. There is a presence of a light kick drum in the background, but it is very faint. Also Features a small guest appearance of Beyonce saying 4 words during the first verse "are you happy Hov".

I like tha song i jus have no idea what he is talking about.

Hov is thought provoking. Jay is one of the best rappers of all time. Anyway back to the issue...Beach Chair is supposed to be like him looking back on his career reminiscing or dreaming about all that he has been through. He actually says that he is going to leave the game to the next man....but as you can see, Jay is addicted.
